Scarab

Scarab is a Chilean company specialized in the sustainable recovery of elements of value from complex, low grade minerals or waste generated by the mining industry such as tailings, gravel and slag. Scarab is working on technologies for the recovery of calcium compounds from tailings dams, and on the recovery of metallic minerals, from low-grade minerals and tailings dams. Both technologies will allow mining companies to sustainably transform important environmental liabilities into assets from which they can generate value.
